#CircusAtWork Project 2014
Shots focusing on the work of the "Blues" of the Royal Air Force Aerobatic Team, The Red Arrows, during the 2014 display season. Not just the "Circus" engineers, but also the Dye Team, Transport, Team Photographers, and others. The project started when, at Biggin Hill, I began to take photos of the team at work for a couple of friends - the Aunt of then Circus 7, Cpl. Jonathan Wilcox, and Circus 8, Cpl. Ross Harrison, both of whom I had got friendly with via Twitter. The photos proved popular, and thanks to assistance from Ross & others I was fortunate enough to get more time through the season "up close" with the jets on the line.
I'm incredibly proud to say that in October 2014 shots from the project were among those selected to be displayed to guests at the team's End of Season guest night.
There is more to the Red Arrows than the guys in the red suits...without the guys you see below, nothing happens.
